Creations of Winifred Kristé Cake follow the passion of Ms Winifred, dating back 2010 where she first discovered the beautiful marriage of craft and cakes. As a self-taught cake designer & cake fanatic, the compulsion to learn and create such gorgeous cake pieces has been the sugar that keeps commitment & promise to her clients for the best designer cakes going.
In the fall of 2014, Ms Winifred moved to Washington D.C. where she worked at the reputable Maggie Austin Cake boutique to further fine-tune her skills. This was where she was also highly influenced by the fine touch Maggie has for her sugar crafts.
Winifred has also taken part in specialised assignments from cake and dessert spreads for Martha Stewart, to Victorian-styled sugar flowers vases that were commissioned by the First Lady of the U.S.A, Michelle Obama for the White House Christmas in 2014.
Coming back to Singapore presented her with the opportunity to showcase her works in her quaint cake boutique, where she often meets clients ranging from local to international to create customized designer cakes pieces for their most important events.
Hand-painted cakes & sugar flowers are the hallmarks of the team at Winifred Kristé Cake. From meticulous brusk strokes to hand-made sugar flowers petals, these techniques are often used to adorn and amplify the beauty and elegance in every cake.
The team often works on exploring flavours beyond the usual, from classic Vanilla Bean to one of everyone's top favourites, the Earl Grey Chocolate. All cakes and frostings are made from scratch and our fine ingredients are imported from the U.S.A.
